What is the decision of the court which stuck the launch of the Xbox application
- Although Bond has not directly responsible for Google, the suspension is linked to a court decision in the United States;
- The court responded to Google’s request to suspend changes in its play store;
- These changes, initially scheduled to take effect on November 1 of this year, require the opening of the store to allow the launch of other application stores and the use of alternative collection systems by developers.
Although PlayStation and Steam applications allow the purchase of games without using the Play store collection system, it is not clear why the Xbox application does not follow the same approach.
Currently, Microsoft offers an Xbox Cloud Gaming subscription service, allowing the remote game via Game Pass, but due to Google’s terms, the load must be carried out by Play Store. For the moment, the Xbox Cloud Gaming is only available in the Samsung Galaxy Store.
