The classic cobrinha game is back – see where and how to download

Game, which appeared for the first time in the Nokia 6110, 26 years ago, was “resurrected” now by the technology of nothing.

A very distant galaxy for a long time ago, people used mobile phones to make phone calls and … only. Send an SMS at most or light an unpaid flashlight.

Currently, more modern devices have come with certain games, which have finally become classic. This is the case of Nokia 6110, the first “brick” to bring its system a game called “snake”, which, in Brazil, we used to call “Cobrinha Game”.

If you are very young and you have no idea what I am talking about, the idea is to “collect” the red spots spread over the screen – and you accumulate them in a straight line (therefore the reference to the snake). To pass the phase, the players must bring these points together while trying to avoid colliting with themselves.

All this nostalgic introduction serves to announce the rebirth of this classic in the hands of NOTHING TECHNOLOGY technology. The company has just launched an application with new widgets for its devices. And the cobrinha game is on this list.

Privilege for some

  • Yes, the first thing I did was to open the play store on my phone and search for the name of the application: nothing of community widgets.
  • And here is the bad news: it is not available for my device.
  • In fact, it is not available for almost all traditional smartphones, only for nothing technology gadgets.
  • Nothing phone is an excellent Android smartphone, excellent for photos, thanks to its 50 megapixel camera.
  • Another strong point of the device is its operating system, nothing.
  • The company pays particular attention to this point, providing a clean design and very interesting tools.
  • The new cobrinha game widget is one of them.
  • Widgets, just to make it clearly, work like shortcuts inside the phone.
  • In the case of the cobrinha game, it will be on the rest of the device.
  • And users can throw their finger on the screen.

The idea came from a user

The inspiration for this initiative came from Rahul Janardhanan, an artist who, earlier this year, designed and shared a collection of 10 concepts for potential widgets.

Janardhanan’s work has drawn the attention of the company and the software team of nothing worked with a community developer to create the widget.
